So sit back and enjoy my favorite pictures from our 2009 trip.
Latching on to another family |
What's really under Darth Vader's cape |
We call this guy Lolo. His identical twin brother is taking a nap in LEGOland Malaysia. |
You won't find Bob the Builder in LEGOland Malaysia, though. He's got his own park there with his HIT Entertainment friends at Puteri Harbour Theme Park . |
Apparently, I've been fascinated with public toilets for years. This one is at Miniland Grand Central Station. |

Hahaha, I do remember those days!
ReplyDeleteI've not been to a LEGOland but I've got to say, some of these are quite lifelike. If it weren't for the raggedy edges, that first one nearly fooled me.
I love your first shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun and clever shots! I especially love the first two pictures. I totally get the Lolo reference too :) I live 10 minutes from Legoland CA and I've taken many of these sights for granted including Miniland. I need to pay closer attention next time. Thanks for some picture ideas! I'm glad Legoland has ventured out to Malaysia.
ReplyDeleteI thought you would get the Lolo reference! (For anyone else wondering about it, "Lolo" is "grandpa" in Tagalog, the main Filipino language.)
DeleteSome days I think I could easily go back to film now that I've learned so much in digital, but being stuck at one ISO for a whole roll and the cost of burst shooting on film scares me!
ReplyDeleteCool. There is also a legoland in the Mall of America in Minneapolis, but I must say, it is nowhere as cool as the photos you posted of Legoland CA.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to any Legolands, but your pics have got me interested. Looks like fun. I love the first pic of the kids holding hands with the lego family. Cute.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I didn't know there was a Legoland in California. Going to check it out. I wasn't very impressed by Legoland Malaysia though - presumably the Californian version is better?
ReplyDeleteThe one in California is bigger and has more rides/shows, but it's still aimed at kids 10 yrs and under.
